How did I manage to miss out this one!?
My apologies, Chass, it's been a bit of a wirlwind here atm, but good luck in rehab and get yourself all well again. In the meantime we'll miss you!

I wish you the best of luck. But you don't need it, because you've done it before and you'll do it again! I realize I've been bashing myself inside my head for too long! As my mum says, don't kick yourself in the ass, there are plenty of people out there to do it for you! So I have decided to stop symbollically beating myself up. I realized I do it because my dad hit my mum and brother sometimes, and I figured since he didn't hit my physically, I beat myself up in my head. It's been a real breakthrough for me. Now I am going to work on that undergraduate degree that I've told myself I wasn't smart enough to get even though I've always been good in school! Such irrational thinking! That's why we never understand why people are molesters or murderers--they think irrational thoughts, so we really can't understand them. But I understand my own because the "tape" has been play over millions of times! You'll be in my thoughts. I use music to keep me sane also.

I'm home! I'm not sure how long I was away. Right now I don't have time to wonder, I just know it feels good to be back home. This morning when Percy and Gram came in to take me home Percy said he had something from Innesboard. Thanks for those hugs. I got quite teary-eyed over that and I still have a lot of emotions and thoughts and memories to sort out, but i wanted to say a big Thank You for your support of well wishes and kind and happy thoughts. I'm still not cured and this could even turn into being a life-long ordeal. I met a dozen other girls with similar problems. If I felt down about my own situation there was a girl I even felt sorrier for. We all have a slightly different set of circumstances that led us to our condition or states of mind. I don't know if anyone can ever explain it all. You know your sick you know you need help but it's just not as easy as turning on or off a switch and then it goes away. And another twist: if I ever thought a nurse or a doctor or therapist at the hospital was tough on me at times, well now I've got Gram at home to contend with. One time when I was bitching back at her she said "you're dealing with me girl and I'll tell you! I'm tougher than a boiled owl!". I spent the last hour at the hospital going over Gram's new house rules. I had to promise her ahead of time I'd follow them before she would let me come home. Percy is no easy cupcake himself, but his approach is in things he teaches me in life lessons. While at the hospital I looked up some of those multi-stringed instrument links Helen mentioned. I'll post some more interesting links along those lines one of these upcoming days. Percy and I and even Gram have had some fun looking up Youtube videos. I'll have a limited time on the internet though which is a good thing, I guess. I don't miss regular tv at all and can probably live without it. I guess I've been typing this for about an hour now, so I'll finish up by saying thanks again. It feels so nice to be home. Chass
p.s. I remembered after posting that we are all in different time zones. It was around 8:02pm here when I originally posted. My sleeping meds are already kicking in so I'll be off to slumber land shortly. goodnight

Thanks. I wanted to mention that while exploring links Helen told me about I found a link called siegel productions. If you type in siegel productions unusual instruments then enter the unusual instruments link you will be there. I'm still exploring it.
A funny thing I found there is the Limberjack. On youtube there are some limberjack videos. Percy and I have been exploring some of these instrument web sites together and are talking about someday trying to handcraft our own instruments. Talking and doing of course are separated by it takes money and a lot of time but it's in the planning stages. So in our little woodworking shop we will eventually be starting to make or build musical instruments. It's our latest hobby interest.
I just saw a dvd movie called 10 things I hate about you. It's from 1999 and Stars Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles. I love the song I want you to want me it's sung by a band on a rooftop at the end of the movie.
Tomorrow I'm at our local hospital as an outpatient getting my insides checked: colonoscopy and they are also inserting a tube to check my esophagus. Up one end and down the other. lol. Thanks to my anxieties they are putting me to sleep for the procedures. Look out here comes tomorrow, I'll be happy to see Thanksgiving.
Percy and Gram have been busy winterizing the house and lawn. It's been warmer than usual lately but usually by December we are frozen with ice and snow til spring. Percy told me to mention that coming up this wednesday at 10pm on the history channel is a 1 hour program about the Beatles. The Beatles on Record. It's repeated at 2am Thursday and at 6pm on Sunday. All times eastern USA, check local listings if you get the History channel. Percy said he'll probably record it and see it the next day. listing says it's narrated by John, Paul George and Ringo and George Martin. I type like I'm wearing gloves so I hit 2 or 3 keys at a time sometimes and it takes me forever to edit so here I am about an hour into it finishing up. Wishing you all Happy Holidays. I think it's a bit early but Gram's been listening to Christmas music nonstop. yikes! Thank God I have my own room to hibernate in!

Baby, I have fought this in my past and have never felt better!
I am here for advice and support whenever you need it - it's tough but you're tougher and will beat it....
Much love x

I'm up late thanks to the horrific prior-to-procedure drugs, just a quick note cause I've got to run.....fast....at times...to....by the way, I think the best Christmas song I like of them all is....Silent Night....that says it all doesn't it? Oh what a night that would be.....I'll be trekking over to another thread.I could possibly be there by December.
