Just posted some of my photos of Neil playing in Putney on Thursday.http://web.mac.com/doo.dah.diaries/iWeb/Doo%20Dah%20Diaries/Big%20Shot.html
It was a great gig with a brilliant audience that joined in from the start.
If you are in the Uk and have missed his tour, then you have missed a real treat.
Cheers
David

Should have said hello.
Re the camera - "all the gear and no idea" - it's new and I am struggling to figure it out. Neil said I could take photos but no flash, so first time I had used a tripod. At least with a digital you can take lots of photos and get a few good ones.
Like you, I wish I could make another gig.
Cheers
David

I'll be at the Chester gig on Sunday night. Anyone else going?

I will definitely say hello if i see you at the next gig :)

Would have loved to have a butchers at your camera, i studied Photography back in the day. You got some great pics considering there was no flash, I took a few with my little digi cam (no flash) and they were rubbish, did have a couple of sneaky flash ones though which weren't much better Sad

Would love to be Neils photographer one day, i had a stint photographing Status Quo which was a lot of fun - a bit of a modern day Linda McCartney!!

See you at the next Ego Warriors Worship Meeting! :)

Then you could teach me a thing or two on how to use the camera properly!
Interestingly both my sons went to school with Francis Rossi's sons, but some 20 years apart. I'm not a big Status Quo fan but I have been to see them live several times and they are blooming good fun.

I didn't make any of the gigs..... I feel so terrible. Crying Going to get on to my student union to see if I can get him a gig down here: if we can get Jack Johnson to come down here then we can surely have Neil!!! And Neil's better!

Actually have met a lot of Bonzo fans at uni - hurrah for the student population!

I'm always happy to buy a ticket (I never free-load) and share photos with you if there are any good ones.

Went to the gig in Grantham last night and as always really enjoyed it. Only a small venue with about 100 people there.

Did a good selection of songs, my favourite being called "Sirely" or "Surely", anyway the one with the doo-ba scats on the Keyboard. Anybody knows what it is really called or has it, please let me know. I remeber he played this the first time we went to see him in Derby and it made me laugh then. Will have to see if i can locate it on the website.

As always Neil did his superstar signings afterwards. Must have four signed things now. Very Happy

Well worth the trip!!!!

No cameras allowed at our venue unfortunately.
